A strong sequel to the January Florida sale, the March auction will offer a large selection of Florida art and antiques, including items from the collection of Florida historian, collector and author Alfred R. Frankel, MD, as well as several other prominent Florida collectors. Following about 300 lots of Florida items, several dozen important historical American art and antique items will be sold.
This month's Florida highlights include:
– Large oil on board painting by Joe Selby, and dozens of other works by Florida artists, including several Highwaymen paintings
-- A seven-foot-wide Clyde Butcher photograph
-- A cabinet from the railroad station in Tampa
-- One of the minaret crescent moons from the Tampa Bay Hotel
– Early Florida pottery from Graack, Kohler, Royal Hickman and others
– A large selection of early Florida original photographs
Americana highlights include:
-- Several original cast iron banks
-- A selection of never-before-offered documents from a New York family, including a Revolutionary War era piece signed by Aaron Burr, documents regarding the Continental Army, late 1700s real estate documents regarding New York lots around Wall Street etc.

Payments:
*Invoices over $2,000 for USA buyers may require payment via cashiers check or bank wire transfer at our discretion. All international transactions over $500 must be completed via bank wire transfer.
*Online bidders will be invoiced the week after the auction directly via email with payment instructions. If you bid on Bidsquare, Invaluable or our own app and have not paid within 7 days, we will also invoice you through your bidding venue IF a credit card can be taken for your transaction, and your card may be charged 4 days after that invoice has been sent. If a wire transfer is necessary, payment is expected within 7 days of invoicing, after which time an unpaid item dispute will be opened. Items will no longer be available one week after a dispute is opened.
*Personal checks are accepted -- shipping will be held until the check clears.
*Partial payment (deposit/layaway) arrangements may be allowable on a case-by-case basis. In any case, however, items not paid for in full (including buyer premium, taxes and shipping, if applicable) within 30 days of auction's close will be considered abandoned. Any deposits collected will be forfeit.
